SURPRISE TRIP!

Hey Guys! I know I said that I was going to post my next blog on Monday, but I had such an amazing reaction that I couldn't wait until then. So first of all I want to thank everyone who took the time to read it and thank you for some amazing feedback!

As you can probably guess from the title, Jitka made plans to take me and Max on a surprise trip. I had absolutely no idea where we were going (mainly because I still don't know Czech very well, so if she would have told me I probably wouldn't know where it was).

Anyway, so we eventually took off after two hours of messing around with the pets and getting Max ready. I was so excited and I think Jitka was too, because after fifteen minutes of driving, we were lost! Na we weren't really, we just took the wrong turning and realised a bit later (hehe). After a further twenty minutes (rocking out to "total eclipse of the heart") we made it!

                      

When we arrived, I  couldn't believe the size of it! It is absolutely massive. The castle is called Hrad Cesky Sternberk, and was built in 1241. I won't bore you with all the Historic facts because...well I don't know them. It was an incredible building and we had such a great laugh.

FIRST EVER BLOG!

 Hey Guys, and welcome to my first ever Blog!

 As some of you may know, I have moved away from England for the foreseeable future and I have decided to keep a diary of all things I encounter abroad. The two main reasons for doing this is so that we can show Max (our son) these posts in the future, and I also believe it would be interesting for you guys to see how an "every day" English man survives.

The aim of this blog is to record all exciting lifestyle experiences I stumble across (literally) with my amazing family. I will be sharing photos of events we attend, updates on when Max reaches new milestones, oh and did I mention we have eleven pets? So I think it's fair to say that there will be plenty to share and I hope you guys enjoy my posts!

So! Let's introduce you to the family.

Let's start with me! My name is Edward, or as my friends may say; Tedward, Jedward, Ed.....the list goes on. I'm 27 and I am married with one child. I have been married for over one year and my son is almost six months. I play football three times a week and spend the rest of my time with my family. I have a great sense of humour but it's a shame that no one understands my "incredible" jokes.

On the left of the picture is my wife Jitka. She is also married with one child (haha). Her main hobbies are definitely photography and make up. She also loves animals. The pictures you will see on this blog will mainly be taken by Jitka.

So now this brings us to our little boy Max. He's coming up to six months now and he is extremely vocal. He has a wide range of vocabulary such as spitting, hiccupping and a whole range of ga's and goo's. He has learnt how to roll over and is on the verge of sitting up. He is doing really well and I'm proud to call him my son.

Now you know the basics, I will update all exciting events starting from Monday.
